Sara Mather. Bsc (Hons) MCSP

I’m Sara Mather and I lead a small team of clinical professionals here at InSync Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic.

We’re based in Hexham, right at the heart of the Tyne Valley, and enjoy treating our clients both in their own homes and at our clinic.

The InSync team loves providing a holistic, community-based physiotherapy service within Hexham and the surrounding areas. We won’t try to sell you packages or sign up to any contracts. We want to help you. Any programme of treatment we recommend will be based on the latest research and ideal for your own individual circumstances.

Would you like to know more about how InSync came about? You’ve come to the right place.

I set up a business called Pilates In The Community back in 2013. I worked from my home village of Greenhead back then. I’d previously worked for several years in the NHS and in private practice. By 2019 my business had grown, and I’d noticed a need for a flexible physiotherapy service in and around Hexham. So many of my clients couldn’t travel for physio appointments so I set up a service that could go out to them.

I’ve always enjoyed working in the community, so I launched InSync Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic, opened my premises in the heart of Hexham and opened the doors to welcome in new and existing clients.

Each member of the InSync team is DBS checked for working with children and adults and are all members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists. We’ve all got a minimum of five years’ experience in private practice and have all worked in the NHS too.

InSync Physiotherapy is also registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office and the relevant local authorities.

Away from physiotherapy Sara is a keen sportswoman and in her spare time enjoys time either on the golf course or swimming.

Sara believes everyone should be treated as an individual and is committed to working with people right across the community.
